Summary of Changes

Hello @Zochory, I'm Gemini Code Assist1! I'm currently reviewing this pull request and will post my feedback shortly. In the meantime, here's a summary to help you and other reviewers quickly get up to speed!

This pull request introduces a new configuration file, context7.json, which appears to define connection parameters for an external service. The file includes a specific URL and a public key, suggesting it's setting up access or integration with a new system or environment. The intent is inferred from the file content, as the PR title and description are minimal.

Highlights

  • New Configuration File Added: A new file named context7.json has been introduced to the repository.
  • Service Endpoint and Public Key: The newly added context7.json file contains a URL (https://context7.com/qredence/agentic-fleet) and a public key (pk_CbMsLXoRu3DTlDnOJ4DgA), likely for configuring access to an external service or API.

🧠 New Feature in Public Preview: You can now enable Memory to help Gemini Code Assist learn from your team's feedback. This makes future code reviews more consistent and personalized to your project's style. Click here to enable Memory in your admin console.

Code Review

This pull request introduces a new JSON configuration file, context7.json, which contains a URL and a public key. My review has identified a critical security issue related to hardcoding the public key directly within the repository. This is a significant security risk and against best practices for managing secrets. Credentials should be loaded from environment variables or a dedicated secrets management service to improve security and maintainability.

security-critical critical

Hardcoding credentials, even public keys, in version control is a significant security risk. It makes key rotation difficult, complicates managing different configurations for various environments (e.g., development, staging, production), and exposes the key to anyone with repository access. This key should be removed from the file and loaded from environment variables or a secrets management system at runtime.
