CeasPay is an Indian financial services provider offering a range of solutions including cash withdrawals, credit card bill payments, money transfers, and credit card issuance. This project involved the development of a secure, user-friendly, and functional web portal for CeasPay. The primary goal was to create a reliable platform for showcasing services, facilitating customer interaction, and enabling efficient data management, all while prioritizing security and a seamless user experience.
My aim with this project was to leverage modern web technologies to build a practical and useful platform that addresses real-world financial service needs, reflecting my passion for creating solutions that can make a tangible difference.
- Responsive User Interface: Developed a clean, intuitive, and responsive frontend using HTML, CSS, and Bootstrap, ensuring a consistent experience across various devices.
- Secure User Authentication: Implemented Firebase Authentication for robust and secure user login and registration processes for both customers and administrators.
- Scalable Backend Solution: Utilized Cloud Firestore (NoSQL database) as the backend, designing a structured data schema for efficient and secure storage of customer information and transaction data.
- Role-Based Access Control (RBAC): Designed and implemented a comprehensive RBAC system for the admin portal, granting administrators full data management capabilities while restricting agent access to relevant customer entries, enhancing security and operational efficiency.
- Secure Deployment & CI/CD: Ensured secure deployment practices by managing Firebase credentials using Vercel Environment Variables and deployed the application on Vercel for continuous integration and delivery.
- Data Management for Analytics: Created a structured system for customer data collection and management within Firestore, specifically designed to facilitate future data analysis and reporting, enabling data-driven decision-making.
- Enhanced Customer Support: Integrated a Tawk.to live chat bot to provide real-time customer support, improving user engagement and capturing valuable interaction data.
- Frontend: HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap

As the developer for this project, my responsibilities included:
- Full-stack development of the web portal, from conceptualization to deployment.
- Designing and implementing the user interface (UI) and user experience (UX).
- Setting up and managing the Firebase backend, including database schema design and security rules.
- Integrating authentication and role-based access control.
- Ensuring the security of sensitive data and application infrastructure.
- Deploying the application and setting up a CI/CD pipeline with Vercel.
- Integrating third-party services like Tawk.to for enhanced functionality.
