Replace the plain dashed-line overlay with a tape measure illustration. The start point renders as a yellow housing (body) with a dark grip strip and tape-slot indicator, oriented toward the end point. The line becomes a yellow tape strip with darker edge lines and foot-interval tick marks. The end point renders as a perpendicular metal-hook tab. All sizes scale with zoom to maintain constant screen-space appearance.
