SafeDrive is a mobile-based application designed to detect drowsiness in motor vehicle drivers. The core of the drowsiness detection is based on machine learning using the Random Forest method. When a driver is detected to be drowsy, an alarm will sound. The detection criteria are determined by calculating the mouth aspect ratio (MAR), eye aspect ratio (EAR), and the position of the nose. This system aims to improve road safety by alerting drivers when they show signs of drowsiness.
Car Accident in Indoneisa is quite high. in 2019 Indonesia had 116,411 Cases, and in 2023 Indonesia had 148,575 Case. That is mean from 2019 untiil 2023 the number of traffic car accident has increase by 27.6%. And the high percentage is 61% cause human error. Some reason of the car Accident beacuse the driver feel Drowsy. That's why we choose this for our main topic.
