This application offers standalone desktop plugins designed for Windows. These plugins extend the OpenCode CLI tools to improve your workflow without the need for coding skills. They have been ported from Anthropic’s knowledge-work-plugins, making it easier to integrate advanced features on your PC.
opencode-cowork-plugins focuses on productivity by providing tools that work directly on your machine. You do not need to connect to external services or deal with complex setup processes.
To use the opencode-cowork-plugins, you will need a Windows PC with the following minimum setup:
- Operating System: Windows 10 or above (64-bit recommended)
- RAM: At least 4 GB
- Disk Space: Minimum 200 MB free space
- Processor: Intel Core i3 or equivalent
- Internet: Required only for the initial download and updates
These plugins run offline after installation. There is no need to keep an active internet connection once installed.
Follow these steps to get the application up and running:
Click the green button below to visit the page where you can download the latest version of the plugins. The page hosts all available releases, so you can pick the most recent stable version.
On the release page, locate the latest release. You will see files with names ending in ".exe". This is the installer for Windows.
- Choose the file that matches your system (usually a file not labeled with "x86" but for modern 64-bit systems).
- The download size is around 50 MB.
Click the file to download it to your computer. Save it somewhere you can easily find, like your Downloads folder or Desktop.
- Double-click the downloaded ".exe" file to start the install process.
- If Windows asks for permission, click "Yes" to allow the installer to make changes.
- Follow the prompts. The installer will guide you through each step.
You do not need to change any settings unless you want to select a custom location for installation.
Once installation is complete, you can find the opencode-cowork-plugins in your Start menu or desktop shortcut. Click to open.
The plugins provide several options to help with tasks related to knowledge work:
- Task automation: Automate simple repetitive tasks on your system.
- Text processing: Tools to help format, edit, and analyze text documents.
- Data management: Basic file and data handling utilities to organize your work.
- Command-line access: You can run commands directly in Windows Terminal or Command Prompt if you prefer.
The plugins work standalone, so you do not need to install other software or dependencies.
Check the release page regularly to download the latest versions. Each update may fix bugs or add small improvements.
