This system was originally built for the BioScholar project and was described in Russ et al 2011.

The source code is available here: https://github.com/SciKnowEngine/kefedEditor

This system is included within the kefed.io application for continuity purposes.

We will also describe scripts that convert pre-existing models under this system to our new representation in kefed.io.
