Bot Setup Install
- Create a new Discord bot on your developer page
- Give the bot all three intents in the "bots" section:
3. Head over to the "install" section, add these settings:
4. Ensure only "guild install" is checked on the same page:
5. Copy your bot token and store it someplace safe! You'll need it shortly.
6. Use the "discord provided" install link in your browser to add the bot to your owned server
7. Download the latest version of the bot from the releases tab
8. Extract the downloaded zip somewhere on your PC.
- It's advised to add the bot somewhere in your operating systems $PATH variable - unless you're running it on a panel or something!
9. Find the .env.example file (you may have to enable show hidden files) and paste your discord bot token in there.
10. Double click the .exe or run navi_bot from your terminal (macos / linux / raspberryPi)
That's all there is to it! You're done! 🥳
Press p key to view the plugin browser, and install what you'd think would be useful for your guild! Don't forget to return to the logs menu l and reload r to refresh your loaded plugins!
Press the c key to enter the config screen and begin setting your plugins up!
