🎙️ voiceeditor - Edit YouTube Audio Simply

Download VoiceEditor

📋 What is voiceeditor?

voiceeditor is a web-based tool that helps you work with audio from YouTube videos. It lets you extract sounds from YouTube, turn the speech into text with timestamps, and edit the audio using a view that shows both the sound waves and the text. It also uses AI to remove background music from your recordings.

You do not need to know programming to use it. The program runs on Windows and should work on fairly standard computers.

💻 System Requirements

Before you use voiceeditor, check that your computer meets these basic requirements:

  • Operating System: Windows 10 or later
  • Processor: 2 GHz dual core or better
  • RAM: At least 4 GB
  • Storage: 500 MB free space minimum
  • Internet: Required for downloading and YouTube access
  • Browser: Modern web browser (Chrome, Edge, Firefox, or similar)

If your computer matches these specs, voiceeditor will run smoothly.

1. Extract Audio from YouTube

  • Copy the URL of a YouTube video.
  • Paste the URL into the designated box in voiceeditor.
  • Click the “Extract” button.
  • voiceeditor will download the audio track for you to work on.

2. Transcribe Audio to Text

  • After extraction, click the “Transcribe” button.
  • The program uses speech-to-text technology to create a transcript.
  • The words will appear with time markers for easy navigation.

3. Edit Audio and Text Together

  • The interface shows a waveform view of the audio.
  • Text from the transcript appears below or beside the waveform.
  • You can select parts of the waveform or text to trim, cut, or rearrange.
  • Editing either the waveform or the text keeps both in sync automatically.

4. Remove Background Music

  • Use the “Remove Music” feature powered by AI.
  • This takes out background sounds like music or noise, leaving the voice clearer.
  • Adjust the settings if needed to get the best result.
