💡 What: Added windowing props (
initialNumToRender, windowSize, maxToRenderPerBatch, removeClippedSubviews) toFlatListcomponents across three screens. FixedReact.memoby ensuring list item callbacks are wrapped inuseCallbackand passed properly to prevent unnecessary re-renders.🎯 Why: Inline arrow functions in
renderItemwere defeatingReact.memoby creating new references on every render, causing all items to re-render. Long lists were also not utilizing windowing optimizations.📊 Impact: Eliminates unnecessary list item re-renders and reduces memory usage/render time for large lists, making screen navigation and filtering noticeably smoother.
🔬 Measurement: Profile the React tree during typing in search fields or deleting items; component re-renders for unchanged list rows are now bypassed.
