I have implemented several micro-UX and accessibility improvements to make the application more tactile and inclusive:

🎨 What's New?

  • Haptic Feedback: Flight cards now provide satisfying tactile feedback when swiping to pin (selection tick) and when the action completes (success notification).
  • Screen Reader Support:
    • Flight cards now support custom accessibility actions, allowing users who rely on TalkBack or VoiceOver to pin and unpin flights directly from the actions menu.
    • Added descriptive accessibility labels to flight cards that summarize key information (Airline, Number, Direction, Time, Status).
    • Localized labels for icon-only buttons (Clear/Save in Notepad, Notifications in Flights) to ensure they are properly announced.
  • Visual Polish: Improved button consistency and ensured localized strings are used for all accessible elements.

♿ Accessibility

  • Implemented accessibilityActions for SwipeableFlightCard.
  • Standardized accessibilityLabel across interactive components.
  • Ensured all new strings are localized in both Italian and English.

🛠️ Technical Changes

  • Added expo-haptics dependency.
  • Updated src/i18n/translations.ts with accessibility-focused keys.
  • Optimized PanResponder haptic triggers to prevent excessive vibration.
