Implemented a complete, custom UI Addon ("WoWUI") based on user specifications:

  • Structure: Defined WoWUI.toc and injected dependent libraries.
  • Unit Frames: Setup Player, Target, Pet, Party, and Raid frames leveraging oUF (with class-colored resource text, max hp/pp text, and castbars). Fixed sizing logic during initialize phases.
  • Action Bars: Leveraged LibActionButton-1.0 to render 5 standalone action bars. Fixed secure state driver initialization so that the main bar correctly responds to Stance, Vehicle, Form, and Stealth updates.
  • Movability: Developed a dynamic /wowui unlock|lock system that saves/recalls coordinates into the environment's WoWUI_DB SavedVariables.

Code review comments addressed and resolved:

  • Replaced incorrect tag IDs in unit frames
  • Safely implemented secure headers SecureHandlerStateTemplate and ChildUpdate for LibActionButton arrays.
  • Implemented proper height assignment via constants instead of dependent functions for uninitialized oUF elements.

- Initialized standard WoWUI.toc structure.
- Implemented core.lua to manage movability framework using SavedVariables and slash commands (/wowui).
- Built minimalist, class-colored unit frames (Player, Target, Pet, Party, Raid) using oUF.
- Implemented actionbars.lua utilizing LibActionButton-1.0 to spawn 5 distinct action bars. Includes secure header StateDriver integration for stance, form, and stealth paging.
