If you really wanted to add this functionality, a better way imo would to open the image in a buffer with sixel. I cant find a plugin for this, but that would be a better solution. |

As a newbie, this has allowed me to work on simple web-dev projects and easily preview images. Thought this idea might help someone else, though I feel like there might be a more elegant way to implement it.
