BloomWatch Catalog

This repository contains a comprehensive catalog of bloom watch data for various locations in India, focusing on phenological events and seasonal patterns.

Structure

The data is organized as follows:

• Yearly Data: Organized by year (2016-2026) under India/

  • States: Karnataka and Uttar Pradesh
    • Cities/Districts: Individual CSV files with daily bloom data

• Seasonal History: JSON files summarizing phenological dates for each location

  • BOS (Beginning of Season)
  • SOB (Start of Bloom)
  • POB (Peak of Bloom)
  • EOB (End of Bloom)
  • EOS (End of Season)
  • MOS (Middle of Season)

• Helpers: Configuration and metadata files

  • contents.json: Lists countries, states, cities, and associated crops

Data Sources

• CSV files contain daily satellite-derived indices (NDVI, RCC, YCC, BCC, ExG, PAR, NDWI, LST_K) and bloom/season tags.
• JSON files provide historical summaries of key phenological dates.
