Main code repository of the project "HiQBioDiv: High-resolution quantification of biodiversity for conservation and management" funded by the Latvian Council of Science (Ref. No. VPP-VARAM-DABA-2024/1-0002).
Directory Templates contains R command lines used to prepare template files for harmonized workflows from preparation of ecogeographical variables (EGVs) to species distribution model (SDM) projections. Templates as georeferenced files are available in our Zenodo community both as raster and vector files.
To simplyfy our work and ensuring reproducibility and repeatability preparing EGVs, we created an R package {egvtools}. The package is guaranteed to work with a dedicated container even long after the project ends.
Full description (filetree, utilities, geodata and workflows both as human readable text and R command lines) of EGVs describing Latvia in 2024 is available as {boodown} document. Due to legal resons, we can not distribute geodata used - it is the user's responsibility to acquire them. If geodata will be stored following our file structure (easily recreated from template repository), our workflows will work without modifications.
