This PR moves some verbose messages from stderr to stdout when they are about non generic situations instead of actual errors.
It also handles a little bit differently the parsing of the random-seed. This will be easier in the future when other long options, with no corresponding short options, might be introduced. This is inspired by the code of ls from coreutils.
