  • Added support for running the app/service as a Docker container.
  • Added support for running the app/service as a Docker container in watch mode using nodemon.

Notes:

  • I have tested this on MacOS and so it is fairly safe to assume it works on *nix based systems. I don't have a Windows machine so it would be worth testing on Windows if you can.
  • The scripts to run as a Docker container are in package.json
  • The readme is docker.readme
  • I think this is a good base, please provide feedback and I can make updates. Once we are happy with this approach then I can quickly reproduce this across other repos.
  • Any other questions, please ask.
