Change radius from the referral results page

Background

Customer request (NCFM)– use case: sometimes they want to search for a specialist in a different place from the patient's home/zip. In LIONS-233 we added the zip code.

User Experience & Constraints

• Begin creating a referral
• From the results page change the radius
• See new results within the given radius
• Submit my referral

Questions

• Default value of radius?
  • Tammie mentioned 30 miles, however this could be bad in very populated areas
  • This could be an org setting, could peel out just be mindful of if users input a value above our max range
• Max value of radius?
  • Tammie mentioned 150 or 250

Implementation Notes

1. Send distance filter in FE.
   1. Check if we already have a stepper in order to specify distance value
   2. Need to find a component (Karo)
   3. Default value of 10 miles with stepper by 5 up to 50
2. Enable filtering by distance on ribbon providers and locations search.
   1. Ribbon recommended 50 miles or less otherwise bad results
   2. Use ribbon location_within_distance
3. Check ribbonex in case those values are not accepted by library.

Testing Scenarios

1. Test different radius values
2. Screen size issues — what happens to the stepper?
3. How is the data when we send 50 miles to Ribbon?
