Summary:
This pull request introduces two additional evaluation metrics: Hit Rate at 10 (HR@10) and Normalized Discounted Cumulative Gain at 10 (NDCG@10). These metrics enhance the evaluation of the recommendation system by providing insights into both accuracy and ranking relevance of the top-10 predictions. Also, the changes are reflected in the Read.me file as well.
Changes:
Added HR@10: Measures whether the relevant item appears within the top-10 predictions.
Added NDCG@10: Evaluates the ranking quality of the top-10 predictions, rewarding higher-ranked relevant items.
Updated the evaluate_metrics and evaluate_metrics_on_list functions to include these metrics alongside the existing Precision@10, Recall@10, and MRR.
Updated the README file to reflect the addition of the new metrics.
Testing:
Verified the new metrics on the provided dataset, achieving expected results for both HR@10 and NDCG@10.
Please review and provide feedback or suggestions for improvement.
