We can consider do a major bump and drop Babel 7 support in the future.

Actually, doing the major now to also remove the Babel 7 dependencies of the repo. |

Sounds great. I was wondering if we can do the major bump when migrating this repo to the main repo, but we can always do a new major bump to align the versions. |
