I see that 8 months have passed without this being merged. Should I infer from the description (restores the ability of Spacebook to build locally) that if I were to clone the repo as-is it no longer builds?

Here is an issue I opened about it about 9 months ago, which this PR addresses (along with just generally updating dependencies across the board):

However, because the maintainer has been unresponsive (I assume for good reason) since June 2022, I myself have switched to using "Minimal 11ty Starter" over Spacebook. I'm incredibly grateful for all the benefit I've gotten from Spacebook, and am sorry to be moving on. I hope @broeker is okay.
