Manual port of the documentation portion of digital-asset/canton PR 549
("feat(external-call): protocol and transaction-hash foundation") into the
Mintlify MDX copy at
docs-main/appdev/deep-dives/external-signing-hashing-algorithm.mdx.
PR 549 changed the upstream RST
(docs-open/src/sphinx/sdk/explanations/external-signing/external_signing_hashing_algorithm.rst),
but that page is no longer maintained in Canton, so the change is applied
by hand here in cf-docs instead.
The COPIED_START provenance marker is intentionally left unchanged.

PR 549 accidentally modified the upstream RST at
docs-open/src/sphinx/sdk/explanations/external-signing/external_signing_hashing_algorithm.rst. That page is no longer maintained in Canton (docs now live here in cf-docs), so this PR manually ports the change to this repo.
