After years of Arch love, I moved to an immutable OSTree-based system (bootc) for better desktop Linux experience — atomic updates, easy rollbacks, and container-native. The future is immutable, baby.

S3RLINUX v2 ditches the Gentoo Stage 4 approach in favor of Arch Linux as the base. Rolling release. AUR support. Way less crying at 3am over USE flags and LLVM compiling for 8 hours.
The real reason? Gentoo finally told me "fuck you" and corrupted my NVMe, refusing to let me save it. So I said "fuck you too" and installed pearOS — a macOS clone (looks like macOS, but runs Arch under the hood). The S3RL spirit remains. The chaos remains. The linux-firmware license hell does not.
Sorry Gentoo elders... I loved you. I really did. I spent countless nights emerge --sync, waiting for compilations, tweaking make.conf. But you destroyed my data. You left me no choice. I had to walk away. I hope one day you forgive me. But for now, I'm walking into the arms of Arch. Maybe BTDF will help me forget. 💔🥀
