Clean up markdown files, site structure. (Do not merge)

To do:

• subpage structure
  • switch to md files for all subpages
  • make subpages be category posts in a blog roll (each independent files)
    • can't do on this timeline http://www.garron.me/en/blog/multi-blog-site-jekyll.html
    • move mini-symposium to news post archive
      • convert existing event archive?
  • move all pdfs etc into subdirs so we can stop having this img folder can't do
    • fix links on http://hurtstotouchfire.github.io/crc_website/calendar/
• remove all unnecessary files
  • remove old index file
  • remove html subpages
• javascript
  • remove all spry js
• implement this: https://github.com/gjtorikian/jekyll-last-modified-at and move last modified into subpage template can't do
• CSS / html layouts
  • implement standard div layout with media queries
  • streamline layouts
    • default layout should include html page structure
    • includes should not contain any page structure, only markup for the content of header, footer, etc.
    • subpage layout is the default plus page title inserted as a header tag
  • strip all old CSS
  • style sidebar nav
  • center footer contents
