- Hoists `os.Executable()` call outside the loop to avoid repeated syscalls. - Reduces allocations from ~3 per job to near zero. - Improves performance by ~8.7x for 1000 jobs (~2.8ms -> ~0.32ms). - Adds `cmd/daemon_benchmark_test.go` for regression testing.
