Pinescript Editor Background .XML and Language.XML for Notepad++
- This setup will allow any file with .pine extension to use this language by default
Notepad++ Downloads page can be found here
Navigate to Language Tab > Define your language
In the new window that has appeared select Import
Navigate to where you have the Tradingview Pinescript.xml file installed and click Open
Restart Notepad++ after installing UDL (if necessary)
Once you have restarted select Tradingview Pine Script in the Language Tab
Navigate to /AppData/Roaming/Notepad++/themes and place the Tradingview Background.xml file there
Restart Notepad++ (if necessary)
In Notepad++ navigate to Settings Tab > Style Configurator...
Select theme: Tradingview Background and check the Enable global background colour, Enable Global font and Enable global font size check boxes. Click Save & Close
Now when you open any file extension with .pine or select it in the Language Tab, it should look like this:
