Situation
The example repo
listed in the README table More examples is running
cypress-io/github-action@v5, which is an outdated and unsupported action version that fails caching.The latest
v5version was v5.8.4 released in Aug 2023. This is the version that the example repo is running.Errors are:
The repo is being updated solely by Renovate and the last manual updates by the owner / maintainer were done in December 2022.
The lowest supported action version is currently v6.7.9 released in Jan 2025.
Change
Remove the repo https://github.com/bahmutov/cypress-gh-action-monorepo from the README More examples list.
Although the repo is running the latest version of Cypress, it is not running a supported version of the action and so it is not a good example to be promoting.
