Why Use Bright Data for Owler Scraping?

Owler scraping comes with several challenges:

 • Rate Limiting: Owler monitors request frequency and may block IPs that exceed limits.
 • CAPTCHA Detection: Automated access may trigger CAPTCHA challenges.
 • Authentication Barriers: Some data requires login and the platform detects automated attempts.
 • Dynamic Content Loading: JavaScript-rendered content is difficult to scrape with simple HTTP requests.
 • IP Blocking: Repeated requests from the same IP may result in blocks.

Bright Data's Owler Scraper API solves these problems with:

 • βœ… Built-in rotating proxies: Bypass IP-based rate limits automatically
 • βœ… CAPTCHA solving: Handles bot detection without any extra setup
 • βœ… Structured data output: Receive clean JSON ready for analysis
 • βœ… No infrastructure needed: Cloud-managed scraping at any scale
 • βœ… 99.9% uptime SLA: Reliable data collection for business-critical workflows
Google has released the Android 17 QPR1 Beta 1 update for Pixel devices, bringing a wave of audio fixes, performance improvements, and system stability enhancements. The update, which went live on April 22, 2026, also integrates the April 2026 security patch, making it a significant milestone ahead of the September Feature Drop. The new beta addresses several long-standing issues. Among the most notable are audio-related fixes: distortion and phase cancellation in VoIP apps caused by hardware audio processing have been resolved, direct audio output failures during extended playback have been corrected, and glitches after prolonged streaming sessions have been eliminated. Performance has also been optimized, with smoother multitasking and fewer crashes across core Android services."Building on the initial release of Android 17, we continue to update the platform with fixes and improvements that are then rolled out to supported devices. These releases happen on a quarterly cadence through Quarterly Platform Releases (QPRs), which are delivered both to AOSP and to Google Pixel devices as part of Feature Drops," said Google.* Fixed a crash in the Default Print Service occurring during low ink conditions that prevents users from completing print jobs. (Issue #487545419)* The Terminal app triggers an Application Not Responding (ANR) error that results in the application and device becoming unresponsive. (Issue #497465940)* Resolved an issue where uncontrollable hardware audio processing on the voice communication path caused distortion and phase cancellation in VoIP applications. (Issue #494843726)* Direct audio output may fail to open on devices using the AIDL audio HAL when playing audio streams longer than five seconds. (Issue #372064012)The update is available via OTA for Pixel devices enrolled in the Android Beta Program, covering models from the Pixel 6 series up to the latest Pixel 10 lineup, including foldables and tablets. Google has reminded users that opting out of the beta before installation avoids data loss, but opting out after installation will trigger a device wipe during downgrade. With this release, Google is focusing less on flashy new features and more on refining the fundamentals-audio quality, stability, and performance-to ensure Android 17 evolves into a smoother, more dependable platform.
Rubrik Security Cloud provides enterprise security and recovery for PostgreSQL databases DUBAI: Rubrik (NYSE: RBRK), the Security and AI Operations Company, announced today it is now offering cyber resilience capabilities to organizations running Google Cloud SQL. The integration enables Cloud SQL customers to leverage Rubrik Security Cloud to protect their managed PostgreSQL databases with immutable, automated backups that add Rubrik's enterprise-grade cyber resilience without disrupting their current database operations or recovery strategy. Cloud SQL has become a foundational database service for enterprise applications, housing some of organizations' most critical production workloads. As these databases grow, so do customer requirements for comprehensive cyber resilience. The new integration delivers Rubrik's enterprise-grade protection for Cloud SQL, helping joint customers defend against ransomware with air-gapped backups and rapid cross-region recovery at scale. "Organizations shouldn't have to choose between cyber resilience and disaster recovery," said Anneka Gupta, Chief Product Officer at Rubrik. "With Google Cloud, we're giving our joint customers immutable backups that work alongside their existing disaster recovery strategy, so they can meet compliance requirements, protect against threats, and recover fast, all without changing their architecture." Key Features with Rubrik Security Cloud for Google Cloud SQL: Unified cyber resilience: Manage Cloud SQL protection alongside Google Workspace, Google Compute Engine, and Google Kubernetes Engine from a single, intuitive interface. Automated discovery and protection: Automatically discover new Cloud SQL instances and apply global policies. Backup without tradeoffs: Delivers immutable backups that add enterprise-grade cyber resilience without disrupting existing database operations or disaster recovery strategies, and with no limit on retention periods. Storage class flexibility: Choose Google Cloud Storage Archive, Coldline, or Nearline for backups to align cost with actual usage. Meet compliance objectives: Use tag-based SLA policies to enforce consistent retention across every instance to meet compliance requirements automatically. Rubrik Zero Labs found that organizations are facing an increased wave of cyberattacks, with 90% of IT and security leaders reporting cyberattacks in the previous year. The study also revealed that 35% of IT leaders cite securing data across varied ecosystems as their top challenge, followed closely by a lack of centralized management and visibility over cloud-based data. Rubrik Security Cloud for Cloud SQL provides resilience with a unified, automated approach for PostgreSQL databases, and addresses a growing need for protection in regulated industries that are scaling managed databases. As cyber adversaries increasingly leverage artificial intelligence to infiltrate cloud environments and rapidly move across systems, CrowdStrike's CDR aims to provide immediate protection against these sophisticated threats. The new integration marks a shift away from traditional, fragmented cloud security tools focused solely on posture management. Instead, CrowdStrike CDR offers unified, real-time protection that spans hybrid and multi-cloud environments, enabling organizations to better defend against modern cloud threats. Additionally, CrowdStrike has extended its Falcon platform to regional Google Cloud infrastructure, allowing businesses to consolidate their cybersecurity operations on a leading, AI-native platform while ensuring compliance with data sovereignty and operational requirements. Daniel Bernard, Chief Business Officer at CrowdStrike, emphasized the importance of speed in cloud security. "Every second counts when adversaries can move from access to exfiltration in minutes," said Bernard. "CrowdStrike's cloud security leadership is built on our ability to operate at runtime at scale. Extending CrowdStrike CDR to one of the world's largest cloud platforms gives more organizations the speed and precision to stop cloud attacks the moment they begin."
TL;DR Google Ads ad disapprovals surge unexpectedly, disrupting campaigns and raising concerns about platform stability. Article A wave of unexplained Google Ads ad disapprovals is disrupting campaigns, leaving advertisers grappling with sudden traffic losses and wasted budgets. The issue, reported widely across the industry, appears tied to technical errors rather than clear policy violations, raising concerns about the reliability of one of the world's largest ad platforms. Many advertisers report mass disapprovals linked to DNS errors and "500 server" issues, even when their websites are functioning normally. This suggests potential system glitches rather than genuine compliance problems. The scale of the disruption is significant. Reports indicate multiple advertisers receiving bulk disapproval notifications simultaneously, hinting at a systemic issue rather than isolated incidents. In some cases, ads have been flagged as "destination not working" despite live and accessible landing pages, further fueling speculation of a platform bug. Industry reaction has been swift. Some advertisers describe the situation as unpredictable and costly, as campaigns pause without warning and require manual appeals to restore performance. While Google has not issued a detailed public explanation, the incident adds to growing scrutiny around automation in ad platforms and its potential failure points. The timing is notable. As advertising systems become increasingly automated, marketers rely more on machine-driven approvals and optimizations. But this incident highlights a key risk: when automation fails, it can scale disruption just as quickly as it scales efficiency. For brands, the takeaway is immediate. Over-reliance on a single platform, especially one governed by opaque automated systems, can expose campaigns to sudden volatility. The broader implication is strategic. As ad ecosystems evolve, resilience and diversification may become as critical as performance optimization.
Why It Matters For CIOs, the integration of Commvault's resilience suite and Clumio backup into Google Cloud reduces the complexity of managing separate security tools across providers. By offering immutable, air‑gapped backups and automated risk assessments directly through the marketplace, organizations can meet stringent compliance requirements while maintaining rapid recovery capabilities for AI‑driven workloads. The move also underscores the growing expectation that data‑protection vendors must be cloud‑native and multi‑cloud ready, reshaping procurement and budgeting processes for IT leaders. The announcements arrive at a time when ransomware attacks on cloud‑based data are rising, and the ability to quickly restore large, distributed datasets can be a decisive factor in business continuity. As more enterprises adopt hybrid and multi‑cloud strategies, the availability of a unified resilience platform may become a competitive differentiator for cloud providers and a key lever for CIOs negotiating vendor contracts. Key Takeaways • Commvault Cloud platform now purchasable via Google Cloud Marketplace • Clumio backup service extended to Google Cloud Storage, early access now • Research cited: 55% of firms lack confidence in cyber‑recovery, 84% use multi‑cloud AI workloads • Immutable, air‑gapped backups designed for ransomware and accidental loss protection • General availability of Clumio for Google Cloud targeted for summer 2026 Pulse Analysis Commvault's twin launches represent a calculated response to the market's shift toward AI‑centric, multi‑cloud architectures. Historically, data‑protection vendors have been tied to on‑premise or single‑cloud ecosystems, forcing CIOs to stitch together disparate tools. By consolidating threat scanning, policy automation and immutable backups into a single, marketplace‑delivered suite, Commvault reduces operational friction and aligns its pricing with cloud consumption models, a trend that is likely to pressure legacy backup vendors to modernize. The timing also dovetails with heightened regulatory scrutiny around data residency and ransomware resilience. Immutable backups stored in an air‑gapped vault not only satisfy audit requirements but also provide a clear technical safeguard against encryption‑based attacks that have plagued many enterprises. As AI workloads generate petabytes of data, the ability to protect and recover at scale becomes a strategic asset, and vendors that can promise seamless, cloud‑native recovery will capture a larger share of the growing spend on data protection. Looking ahead, the success of Commvault's approach will hinge on adoption rates within the Google Cloud ecosystem and the depth of integration with AI platforms like BigQuery and Vertex AI. If early adopters report faster recovery times and lower total cost of ownership, other hyperscalers may accelerate similar partnerships, potentially leading to a de‑facto standard for cloud‑native resilience. CIOs should monitor usage metrics and SLA performance as the service moves from early access to full GA, and consider how unified resilience platforms can simplify multi‑cloud governance and budgeting. 12 Sources securitybrief.co.nz Commvault brings cloud resilience tools to Google Cloud securitybrief.asia Commvault extends Clumio support to Google Cloud Storage securitybrief.news Commvault extends Clumio support to Google Cloud Storage business.scoop.co.nz Business.Scoop » Commvault Strengthens Google Cloud Partnership As Demand Grows For AI-Ready Cyber Resilience cloudmagazin.com Commvault bringt Clumio auf Google Cloud Storage (22.04.2026) | Cloudmagazin commvault.com Multi-Cloud Recovery That Actually Works | Blog | Commvault itbrief.in Commvault brings cloud resilience tools to Google Cloud itbrief.co.uk Commvault brings cloud resilience tools to Google Cloud - IT Brief UK itbrief.news Commvault extends Clumio support to Google Cloud Storage channellife.news Vodafone & Google Cloud launch AI & security tools channellife.co.uk Commvault brings cloud resilience tools to Google Cloud blocksandfiles.com Commvault cosies up to Google's Cloud Commvault expands cloud resilience and Clumio backup to Google Cloud Commvault rolled out its complete Cloud platform on Google Cloud Marketplace and extended its Clumio backup‑as‑a‑service to Google Cloud Storage, giving enterprise customers a single resilience suite for workloads spanning BigQuery, Compute Engine, Kubernetes, Cloud SQL and Google Workspace. The launch arrives as the vendor cites research showing 55% of organizations lack confidence in recovering from a major cyber attack and 84% of cloud leaders run multi‑cloud AI workloads. Expanding Resilience on Google Cloud The new offering bundles threat‑scanning, isolated immutable backup storage and automated policy recommendations that classify workloads and flag protection gaps. "As AI accelerates the pace of transformation, the stakes for keeping data and workloads resilient in the cloud have never been higher," said Michelle Graff, Senior Vice President of Global Partners & Channel Sales at Commvault. "By expanding the full breadth of the Commvault Cloud platform to Google Cloud, we are giving cloud‑first and multi‑cloud organizations choice, the ability to innovate with confidence, and access to proven resilience." Industry analysts note that embedding cyber‑resilience tools directly in hyperscale marketplaces lowers adoption barriers. Mike Leone, VP & Principal Analyst at Moor Insights & Strategy, observed that the collaboration "highlights how cyber resilience is evolving from a standalone capability into a core part of the cloud operating model." Implications for Multi‑Cloud AI Workloads The Clumio extension lets customers store immutable backups in an air‑gapped vault separate from primary data, a design aimed at protecting massive AI and analytics datasets. "With Clumio now expanding to Google Cloud, we are enabling more customers to bring resilience to datasets that are powering today's AI transformation," said Woon Ho Jung, Chief Technology Officer of Clumio. Atlassian's Head of Engineering for Trusted Data Platform, Alex Grach, added, "Google Cloud is a key partner for our multi‑cloud strategy... With Clumio for Google Cloud, we will be able to restore massive volumes of cloud data with a cloud‑native SaaS solution that is easy to use and highly scalable." The service is in early access with general availability slated for summer 2026, aligning with the broader trend of organizations moving critical data to cloud storage for AI pipelines while demanding compliance‑ready, ransomware‑proof recovery. Phil Goodwin, Research Vice President at IDC, linked the launch to the "explosion of data in the cloud utilized for AI and analytics" that forces a shift away from legacy backup tools. Commvault's dual announcements signal a strategic push to become the default resilience layer for enterprises that have adopted a multi‑cloud, AI‑first approach. The company will monitor uptake through its credit‑based pricing model and plans to integrate additional automation and policy‑driven protection features as customers scale their cloud footprints.",
