Concurrent with this, what's the method of getting new markdown files into the API? Maybe there could be some CI to validate new recipes, so it's not someone's job to verify new merges manually? It'd be a shame if a new delicious taco accidentally broke'd the whole thing. (Looking for something to work on so I could volunteer some time here as well). |

This is a really big commit, but I wanted to create an API with all of the taco data, and the recipes are currently in a really inconsistent format for parsing.
I updated all recipes to use this format: https://github.com/w3cj/tacofancy/blob/master/RECIPE_TEMPLATE.md
And built a parser/api here: https://github.com/w3cj/tacos.now
The API is hosted here and includes all of the relevant recipe info in full detail including title, author, description, ingredients, directions, notes and tags.
There hasn't been much activity on this repo in a few months. If you're looking for a new maintainer or someone to help out with pull requests, I'd be happy to help!
