Release list
v0.11.1
Install
Download the .dmg (drag Refman to Applications) or the .zip.
Refman is not signed with an Apple Developer ID, so macOS Gatekeeper blocks it on first launch. To open it, run this once in Terminal:
sudo xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine /Applications/Refman.app
Then open Refman normally. Alternatively, try launching it once, then go to System Settings → Privacy & Security and click Open Anyway.
Chrome extension
- Download
RefmanChrome-Extension-v0.11.1.zipfrom the assets below and unzip it. - Open
chrome://extensionsin Chrome. - Enable Developer mode.
- Choose Load unpacked.
- Select the unzipped folder containing
manifest.json. - Optionally pin Refman from Chrome's Extensions menu.
Chrome cannot install the release ZIP directly. It must be unzipped and loaded with Load unpacked.
Pair with Refman
- Keep Refman running with its main library window focused.
- Press ⌘P.
- Enter the displayed six-digit code in the extension.
