Summary of Changes

Hello, I'm Gemini Code Assist1! I'm currently reviewing this pull request and will post my feedback shortly. In the meantime, here's a summary to help you and other reviewers quickly get up to speed!

This pull request updates the project's configuration to reflect a change in the minimum supported Python version. The primary impact is that the project will now require Python 3.11 or newer, aligning with current development practices and potentially leveraging newer language features or dependency requirements.

Highlights

  • Python Version Support: The project's minimum required Python version has been updated from 3.10 to 3.11, effectively dropping support for Python 3.10.

🧠 New Feature in Public Preview: You can now enable Memory to help Gemini Code Assist learn from your team's feedback. This makes future code reviews more consistent and personalized to your project's style. Click here to enable Memory in your admin console.

Code Review

This pull request begins the process of dropping support for Python 3.10 by updating requires-python and the mypy configuration. However, the changes are incomplete. To fully drop support, you should also remove the Python 3.10 classifier from pyproject.toml and remove py310 from the envlist in tox.ini. I've added a specific comment regarding the classifier.
