DirectSong is a service used to play custom soundtracks while playing Guild Wars.
The Daybreak implementation of the DirectSong mod uses the latest version of the DirectSong files coupled with ChthonVII's remixed playlist file, which aims to fix a couple of inconsistencies in the original version.
DirectSong is installed under the Daybreak installation folder. On launch, Daybreak sets up the necessary DLLs in the Guild Wars executable directory.
DirectSong is installed under the Daybreak installation folder. The DirectSong mod then uses the existing Wine prefix to setup the required registry entries and uses custom DLLs provided under ChthonVII's Linux Installation Guide to make it work on modern systems.
