Storey is an americanism - we use the word "floor". Also in the UK the ground floor is zero, the 1st floor is 1

Great work on this pull request! Everything seems to be in order - good coding practices, appropriate tests, and thorough documentation. It's fantastic to see this level of detail. Given the importance and readiness of this change, I would recommend merging it into the main branch immediately. This would allow us to make improvements right away. Once again, great job!
