"If it ain't broke, you're not tweaking hard enough." π€«
I'm basically driven by two things: curiosity and a strong belief that software should be free. I love reverse engineering stuff to figure out how it actually works, then either building clones or creating free alternatives to paid software. Because honestly, why should good tools cost money?
I used to maintain xdroidOSS for the Poco F1βremember that phone? It was legendary. We had a good run but the project died about two years ago, mainly because paying for server time to build ROMs got too expensive. Would be cool to dust that off someday if I had the cash.
Now I'm a maintainer for Halcyon (official) and PixelOS (unofficial). Still keeping the ROM spirit alive, just in different projects. These days I'm also getting into AI and machine learning. Still wrapping my head around how it all works, but I want to build something useful with it. It's harder than I thought though.
Yeah, my "battle station" is pretty weak. But honestly? It doesn't matter that much.
- Main Device: Xiaomi Poco F1 (absolute legend of a phone)
- Secondary: iPhone 13 (mostly collecting dust)
- Computer: AMD FX-6100, Nvidia GT 620, 4GB RAM
- (shoutout to Google Colab for saving my life when training models π)
I'd love to upgrade eventually so I can actually finish all the ideas I have without running out of RAM or storage.
Check out my work at ibra.prjktla.my.id.
fingers crossed the final build doesn't turn into a 2GB bloated mess
my computer literally dies when compiling. it's not great.
Honestly not great with fancy frameworks. I just stick to vanilla JS and CSS because it works for me. Yeah it's not trendy but whatever, it gets the job done.
Got an idea? Wanna bounce stuff off each other? Just reach out, I'm always down to chat.
