• Please use a known identity for the Signed-off-by line, typically your real name.
• The author name recorded in the commit must be the same identity.
• Please do not put a date in the commit message; the commit itself records the date of the change.
• Please apply the prefix gitk: to the subject line. The subject line then continues with a word in lowercase letters.

As far as the changes are concerned, please follow the instructions shown after running make ALL_POFILES=po/ja.po update-po, i.e., install the clean filter as mentioned before you make the commit.

It would be great if you could single out the changes that only insert spaces around colons into their own commit (with a suitable commit message), so as they do not distract from the substantial changes.
