My name is Jake

Here is a little about me:

  • I was born and raised in San Francisco, California 🌉
  • I began coding in 2020 when I learned to develop algorithms for buying and selling publicly traded assets 📈
  • I received my full-stack certificate from the UC Berkeley Extension coding bootcamp in June of 2022 👨‍💻
  • I completed my B.S. in Biochemistry at UC Davis in the winter of 2022 🧪
  • While in school, I worked as a helicopter structural mechanic for the CA National Guard 🚁
  • And I currently work as a full-stack software engineer for Northrop Grumman
  • My favorite ways to spend my time include being with family, in my garden, on a lake or stream, reading, listening to podcasts, or building something novel 🌱
