push_browser_mods

Ableton Push browser mods to enable granular drum pad categories (type -> pack name) and put 'Places' at the top of the browser. Based on Push browser category hack by DJ Limbs.

Installation

Mac: Download the zip, unzip, and run the install.command OR

1. Download the zipped .py files from this repo

• Open your Applications folder
• Right click on your Ableton app
• Select show package Contents
• Proceed to /Contents/App-Resources/MIDI Remote Scripts
• Duplicate the Push folder and rename it Push_Mod
• Unzip the contents from this repo to Push_Mod
• Assign Push_Mod to your Push in Lives's Preferences -> Midi/Sync Tab
