🎯 Why: The previous code was iterating over all connections and calculating them in an IIFE on every single render pass whenever any state changed (e.g., hovering nodes, moving graphs). This would freeze the UI for large repositories.

📊 Impact: Significantly reduces re-rendering time for large dependency graphs by preventing repeated deep iteration.

🔬 Measurement: Profile the application during zooming/panning in the force graph view while a node is selected. React Developer Tools Profiler should indicate lower render durations for App.
