🐦‍🔥 EMBER

Ephemeral Model-Based Burst Execution Runtime
Predictable compute for an energy-constrained world.

Running Python inference jobs across distributed nodes is messy. Latency spikes under burst traffic, memory pressure cascades across workers, and remote routing failures silently degrade the whole system. Most platforms optimize for throughput — push more requests, saturate more cores, move faster. But cheap compute today becomes expensive instability tomorrow.

EMBER takes the opposite stance. Built for the Wireless Internet Services domain, it is a hierarchical control plane that governs high-variance inference tasks across a distributed regional fabric. It replaces ad-hoc offloading with deterministic routing balancing local thermal budgets against regional energy costs so the system behaves predictably even when demand doesn't. Performance is a side effect. Predictability is the goal.
