💡 What:
Hoisted
getInitialsandgetAvatarColorpure helper functions outside theUserManagementcomponent body inapp/(admin)/users.tsx.🎯 Why:
These functions were previously defined inside the component body, meaning new function references were being allocated on every single render of the
UserManagementcomponent. Since they are pure functions that don't depend on component props or state, they can safely live outside the component.📊 Impact:
Slightly reduces memory pressure and garbage collection overhead by eliminating unnecessary function allocations during re-renders, especially noticeable on lower-end devices when interacting with the modals or lists.
🔬 Measurement:
To verify, you can add a
console.loginside the functions to see when they are invoked, and verify the memory footprint in React DevTools stays flat across re-renders compared to the previous implementation.PR created automatically by Jules for task 12820196541376649868 started by @kourdroid
