Climate Spiral 3D (HadCRUT4)

Interactive 3D climate spiral/helix of global temperature anomalies based on HadCRUT4 monthly Northern + Southern hemisphere average series, with baseline defined as the 1850–1900 mean.

How to build locally

pip install -r requirements.txt
python build.py

This generates index.html.

Data

Raw data is stored in:

• data/HadCRUT.4.6.0.0.monthly_ns_avg.txt

The build script also writes cleaned versions:

• data/hadcrut_monthly_clean.csv
• data/hadcrut_annual_mean.csv
