🤖 Augment PR Summary

Summary: Updates this project’s Gradle Wrapper to Gradle 9.5.0 to keep the build tooling current.

Changes:

  • Upgraded the wrapper distribution from 8.4 to 9.5.0 (updated gradle-wrapper.jar and distributionUrl).
  • Added wrapper download settings in gradle-wrapper.properties (networkTimeout, retries, retryBackOffMs).
  • Regenerated gradlew to the Gradle 9.5 template, including SPDX header, improved APP_HOME resolution, and switching wrapper invocation to -jar.
  • Regenerated gradlew.bat to the Gradle 9.5 template, including stderr error output and updated process/exit behavior.

Technical Notes:

  • The wrapper scripts now align more closely with upstream Gradle 9.5 defaults (including stricter assumptions like requiring xargs on Unix).
  • After upgrading, CI/build agents should be validated against Gradle 9.x compatibility expectations (e.g., required Java version and plugin compatibility).

gradle/wrapper/gradle-wrapper.properties:3: Since distributionUrl is changing to Gradle 9.5.0, consider adding distributionSha256Sum so the wrapper can verify the downloaded distribution integrity (helps protect against tampering/caching issues). Without it, the wrapper will accept whatever ZIP is returned for that URL.

Severity: medium
