Docs proposal for overview page edit

Adapts the docs overview page by surfacing the main quickstart actions earlier and adding a lightweight mental-model intro. The page now points users more directly to Get First Trace, Manage First Prompt, and Set Up Evals, while keeping the broader product explanation further down the page.

Core assumption is that people visit docs to get started.

Old version (had the quickstart links at the bottom of the page)

this changes seems sensible, i suggest to loop in @Lotte-Verheyden on to review this (she did the latest docs revamp)

we need to be a bit carful with every new joiner turning the docs from left-to-right (which happened in the past) - new joiners often reverted changes that people on the team specifically made

therefore I suggest you create a list of all your findings and then share them with the broader docs team (marc, jannik, lotte, me) before restructuring docs or changing the "new users wants to get started experience" to discuss findings to avoid going back to structured we specifically wanted to remove

Agree! Already started noting things down, this one just seemed to help on a quicker ramp up for users and could also helps in finding the AI capabilities quickly.

I like it! This one indeed is very sensible, and the "Overview" part of the page is still relatively high up the page so no big risk in changing it. Happy to go through your list if you have time :)
