The standard service marketplace (Thumbtack, Houzz, etc.) makes the customer chase vendors. The customer fills a form, gets bombarded by 5+ pushy sales calls, and ends up overpaying because vendors don't compete on price.
Bidit reverses the loop.
- The customer posts what they need (one form, one time).
- Pre-vetted local vendors bid down to win the job.
- The customer sees only the final offers — sorted by price, rating, and verified credentials.
- They pick. The vendor gets paid through Bidit's escrow.
The vendor competition does the price discovery. The customer never gets cold-called. The marketplace takes a fixed cut, never inflates with hidden fees.

- Vendor identity verified — government ID + insurance proof + credential (license #, professional accreditation)
- Reviews are verified-purchase only — no anonymous Yelp-style brigading. Only customers who actually paid through Bidit can leave a review.
- Escrow on every job — money held until customer confirms job complete. Vendor paid out T+2.
- Dispute resolution — Bidit arbitrates. Both parties submit evidence. Decisions are public (with PII redacted) so the system is auditable.
- Quebec Loi 25 / Canadian PIPEDA compliant — customer data lives in Canadian regions only. No tracking pixels. No paid ads using customer data.
