👋 About Me
Hi, I’m Mao Tian, a Research Assistant Professor at the anford Burnham Prebys in the Boutros Lab. My work sits at the intersection of cancer genomics, machine learning, and large language models (LLMs).
🔬 Research Focus
AI + Cancer Genomics: Developing machine learning and LLM-based methods for cancer subtyping, clinical prediction, and precision medicine.
Multi-omics & Tumor Evolution: Using WGS, WXS, RNA-seq, proteomics, single-cell, and spatial genomics to study aggressive cancers (e.g., anaplastic thyroid cancer, triple-negative breast cancer, HPV+ tonsil cancer).
Computational Tools: Building pipelines and software (e.g., iSubGen, PipeVirus, iTRI-QA) to support large-scale cancer genomics and AI-assisted research.
