BuildSaveSlotInfoInternalmethod inSaveManager.cswas refactored. The backup evaluation loop now breaks early when a backup save is found. Crucially, the size query (GetPersistentFileSize) and update write timestamp logic (UpdateLastWrite) for the primary save were moved into theif (hasPrimarySave)guard block.💡 Why: This improves maintainability and robustness by preventing wasteful, redundant file system OS calls when a file is already known not to exist. The early
breaksaves CPU cycles by short-circuiting the backup existence check.✅ Verification: I ran static validation scripts (
Tools/test_run_asset_static_validators.pyandpytest Tools/). The changes only affect early-out loops and redundant OS checks behind known booleans. Code review verified this introduces no regressions and successfully improves the system.✨ Result: A safer, more optimized, and cleaner save slot info builder that accurately handles edge cases such as missing primary files without throwing unnecessary exceptions or wasting resources.
