⚡ AltPower

A native Alt+F4 power menu tool that provides Windows users with a familiar experience when switching to Linux.

Warning

AltPower is currently in the development stage, and the first version has not yet been released.

✨ Overview

AltPower is a native Linux desktop utility designed for people moving from Windows to Linux.

On Windows, pressing Alt + F4 while the desktop is focused opens a power menu. AltPower aims to bring a similar experience to Linux desktops while keeping normal application-closing behavior unchanged.

Tip

Alt + F4 on an app window → Let the desktop environment close that window. (Incomplete functionality)
Alt + F4 on the desktop → Open the AltPower power menu.
