What does support for threads look like? The project's README.md suggests it's still in development, is that right?

Oops! It seems my eyes looked right past the screenshot in the project's README.md. 🙃
I was thinking more about functionality, rather than just visuals.
@subpop: What can users do in regard to spaces, functionality-wise?
