I'm currently in my final year of Aerospace Engineering (specializing in Aerospace Vehicles) at the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (UPM). My core passion lies at the intersection of high-order Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) and the space sector.
My long-term goal is to apply advanced numerical methods and high-fidelity fluid simulations to the design and optimization of space systems, specializing in areas such as rocket propulsion, atmospheric re-entry aerothermodynamics, and launch vehicle design.
- High-Order Mesh Generation for Space & Fluid Applications: Developing my Final Degree Project (TFG) and working as a Research Assistant/Intern at UPM. My work focuses on building automated Python pipelines to project, curve, and elevate topological meshes (using Gmsh API and ANSA) to minimize computational overhead in high-order CFD solvers (like HORSES3D).
- HPC Environments: Running and managing heavy simulation cases in supercomputing environments (CESVIMA) using SLURM and Bash scripting.
- Fusing CFD and Astronautics: Seeking to enroll in a Master's degree program within the European space sector for the 2026-2027 academic year to deeply integrate advanced CFD workflows into the development of next-generation launchers and space exploration vehicles.
- Languages: Python, Bash
- Engineering & CFD: Gmsh API, ANSA (Pre-processing), High-Order Topologies, PyHOPE/HORSES3D
- Documentation & Workflow: LaTeX, Git, Linux/HPC
