Two POC implementations reach very similar headline numbers. The question for reviewers is the dependency trade-off: adopt the kplane fork (approach a) and get a smaller diff, or stay on upstream
k8s.io/*(approach b) and own the implementation ourselves.Both approaches introduce risks. Please weigh in on which risk you'd rather carry - or if you see another way forward I'm not seeing.
