`activemodel-serializers-xml` is required for this gem to load, but is not currently included in `activemodel`. It was extracted for ActiveModel v5.x. Either adding it to the dependencies, or applying a `~> 4.2` constraint to the `activemodel` dependency resolves this. I've opted for the former in this patch.
Adding it to the `gemspec` is half the battle, this is the other half. It needs to be required separately, as it has been extracted from ActiveModel.
